SUPERBOLT® Tensioners of the SHT series are used where space is limited and high temperatures prevail. Their outer diameter is approx. 1.5x the nominal thread diameter. Therefore, they replace konventional cap nuts while offering the advantages of multi-jackbolt tensioners.
Additionally, these tensioners may be utilized for applications for which their special properties are beneficial: they are highly corrosion resistant, and can be made from nonmagnetic steel upon request. Depending on the operating temperature different material combinations are used.
