General Description

SUPERBOLT® Shaft Tensioners of the SM series are used to replace standard thin nuts, as for example supplied by electric motor manufacturers. Compared to those, they are easy to tighten and loosen. Used on tapered shafts to DIN 1448, SUPERBOLT® Shaft Tensioners guarantee a proper connection and safeguard of the key. They are designed to match the hub stress capacity of brake wheels and pulleys.

Applications:

Fastening brake wheels, couplings and pulleys to tapered shafts as on mill motors, crane motors and gears.
